What does an individual do when he retires after 30 years from the nicest country club in Houston (my view) and doesn’t know what he is going to do with himself?  The answer: buy a club of course!  At least this was what my friends suggested.  Anyway, they were right and it has been a total labor of love.

Starting with General Manager Steve Bryan, Westheimer Indoor has assembled the finest staff in Houston with three division one college All Americans , eight teaching pros with over 100 years of collective teaching experience and a retail operation where members receive incredible special member pricing.  We constantly brag about our number one junior tennis academy and a superb membership that resides in 48 zip codes.  I call this a pretty broad based club.  A club of tennis nuts who love the game and don’t want to have weather get in the way of their game.

It’s no lie, at private clubs it is all about the membership.  Clubs are built around the dues line and are very sensitive to adding new members and retaining existing ones.  We have been fortunate to have grown our membership each of the three years we have been in existence.  This is due to a tremendous amount of support Chris and I have received from great employees, an active enthusiastic membership and great friends.
